Air Source Heat Pump Installations
Thinking about replacing your gas boiler with a low-carbon heating system? I install and service Air Source Heat Pumps for domestic properties across Lancaster, Morecambe and the South Lakes — helping you make your home run more efficiently
What’s Involved?
Every heat pump installation starts with a professional survey of your home. We will assess your heat loss, pipework, radiator sizes, loft insulation and how your property is heated now. This helps us design the right system for your home and ensure it runs efficiently once installed.
We'll talk you through the whole process so you know exactly what to expect — from site inspection to final handover.
Government Grants & Support (good news)
Installing a heat pump can be more affordable than you might think. Most households in England and Wales can benefit from government grants that help reduce the upfront cost:
-
Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) grants offer up to £7,500 towards a heat pump installation when replacing a gas/oil or electric heating system. We apply for this on your behalf, and the grant comes off the final cost.
In some cases, whole-home efficiency funding (including insulation or other upgrades) is also available, potentially covering even more of the cost.
Why This Matters...
A correctly sized and installed heat pump can significantly lower your energy bills and carbon footprint. With the right survey, thoughtful design and grant support included, many homeowners find the overall cost competitive with traditional heating systems. Grants and zero-VAT reductions are designed to make these systems much more accessible.
